In the History of Cornmeal, you'll learn about the cornmeal produced at the Jolly’s Mill Pond Gristmill and the recipes from that era. 

This is our Basic (lunch-and-learn) Package for up to 20 people.

In this class, you'll also learn about:

• Historic cornmeal recipes like Corn Pone, Johnny Cakes, and Spoon Bread
• Local tribes’ maize traditions that shaped early cooking.
• The vital role enslaved Africans played in adapting and refining these recipes.
